Thank You For Your Interest

Take a few minutes to learn more about what we do at the VFBA and if you would be a good fit for our mission of serving our veterans and local communities.

So What Exactly Are We Looking For?

First off, we're not looking for everybody.

We're looking for good people who have a heart for the veteran community and would rather build relationships than burn through a list of leads.

Take a few minutes and learn a little bit about the VFBA, what we're building, how it works and the kind of people we're looking for.

The video will introduce Brian Piacentini, Donald "Doc" Ballard who is a Medal of Honor Recipient and the ambassador for the VFBA, and how exactly we work through local American Legion posts to help the veterans and local communities.

If you have a heart for serving, then we have established relationships to get you plugged in quickly to help build your own rapport and hit the ground running quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn About the Nuts and Bolts

There are a lot of little details that go into deciding whether an opportunity like this is actually a good fit.

- How much time will it take?

- What does it look like when you actually walk into an American Legion post?

- What kind of training will you have, what does it cost to get started, and what happens when somebody raises their hand and wants more information?

We don't expect you to have all of that figured out before talking with us.

We've already been doing this, learning what works in the field and building a system that our Ambassadors can follow.

In this video, Brian walks through some of the practical questions about getting started and gives you a better picture of what being part of the VFBA team actually looks like week to week.

Still Interested in Talking with Brian?

We want to be clear about this part:

We're NOT looking for everybody.

We're looking for people who have the right heart for the veteran community, who do what they say they're going to do, who can build real relationships, and who are willing to put in the time to build something the right way.

If you've made it this far and that sounds like you, the next step is a 20–30 minute Zoom interview with Brian.

This isn't a high-pressure recruiting call, and Brian isn't going to spend the next half hour trying to talk you into joining.  ,

In fact, it's more the opposite.  It's a chance to get to know each other, talk about your background and what you're looking for, answer your questions, and see if there's a genuine fit on both sides.

We're building this team carefully, and we'd rather find the right people than simply find more people.

So pick a time you can commit to, come prepared for a good conversation, and let's see if this is the right mission for you.
