Founded by 3rd-generation veteran and former U.S. Army Infantry Captain Brian Piacentini and his wife Kate, a Registered Nurse (RN), VFBA was built on a simple premise: military families deserve clear, honest benefit guidance from people who have walked in their shoes.
As a 100% disabled combat veteran with two tours in Iraq, Brian leads VFBA’s distribution network, agent contracting, and field operations. Kate serves as Co-Owner and Client Retention Manager—combining her clinical oversight, Medicare/Life licensure, and personal experience navigating CHAMPVA and VA benefits to advocate for families long-term. Together with their family, Brian and Kate lead VFBA as a dedicated, relationship-first organization committed to protecting military households for generations to come.
